No! Tests have shown that the average person rarely goes over 5gb of storage of Backtracks in the Background. The app stores recordings locally and overwrites those files repeatedly. If you find Backtrack taking up too much storage for your liking, you may always go to the settings screen and decrease the recording limit.
No! Backtrack is optimized for your device and you shouldn't see much of a difference day-to-day in speed. However, if you're on an older device, you may see your system slow down. You may go to your settings screen and disable screen recording to get an extra boost.
Don't worry, recording happens in the background, local to your device, and will never stream to the internet. If you wish to share your recordings, you may upload to the Backtrack cloud.
Short answer- not really. Depending on your device and battery health, you will see an average of 15-20% faster battery drainage than you normally would see. We recommend that have a charger handy or purchase an external battery.
