All recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated notes are accessible in the Backtrack dashboard web portal at dashboard.usebacktrack.com. Administrators can also view team activity through the web portal.
This is not legal advice, however, many event organizers work with Backtrack and legal departments to ensure local laws and compliance are handled correctly. Backtrack will not work with any entities who refuse to give full transparency to attendees around recording.
Our modern device fleet, combined with advanced post-processing technology, ensures clear, actionable transcripts — even in noisy environments.
Backtrack captures multi-person conversations and uses AI to detect and label individual speakers in the transcript. Results are best if limited to 4 people per table (2 buyers, 2 sellers).
Backtrack devices may have internet built in but should typically be used as a backup. Wifi is the preferred way to connect devices to the internet and in the worst case scenario, devices are able to store recordings locally until they get to wifi in case internet goes down.
Backtrack's devices are self-sufficient and built to handle long events. If your event goes longer than intended, Backtrack may provide power banks. In larger events with 500+ tables, backtrack may ask to have a room with power dedicated to charging or power provided at tables.

All data is encrypted in transit and stored securely in the cloud. All Backtrack data is private to respective users and admins.
