How Backtrack went from an idea on an Airplane to revolutionizing the way people meet at events, forever.
From voice messaging to meeting reports
Backtrack started on a flight home from an investor meeting in San Francisco, when the founders realized they should’ve recorded key investor conversations. They built Backtrack and took it live at trade shows to capture real buyer conversations.
Today, Backtrack is an AI meeting capture platform for 1:1 scheduled event meetings, including hosted buyer programs and private meeting rooms, and turning conversations into transcripts, summaries, CRM-ready notes, and ROI reporting.
The founders
Together, Hunter and Jordan founded several startups, surpassing $10m in funding, garnered investment from Slack (Salesforce), Shure Microphones, and influential figures such as Arlan Hamilton, Anthony Pompliano, Ankur Nagpal (founder of Teachable) and more.
They have been featured in the press including Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Axios, and more.
